Reservation for ski / snowboard equipment or ski / snowboard school

You can make an online booking for ski equipment and/or ski/snowboard school at the address https://www.sankiyskischool.com/book on our website.

The reservation form sent does not constitute a confirmed reservation. Our team will contact the customer as soon as possible with details of the options. Once all the details are precised, the service will be confirmed by e-mail, WhatsApp, Viber or any other online sorce.

When booking a ski / snowboard school, the meeting point with the instructor is Banderiska Poliana – this is the top station of the cable car. The client must be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the lesson starts.

If you are more than 15 minutes late from the start time – the lesson will be cancelled with no refund.

Terms and conditions for reservation cancellation:

Except in case of force majeure events, the Client would cancel any booked services:

• with notice by email or phone at least 3 days before the start of the services.

We are not liable for and we do not reimburse money in the following cases:

• In case of injury of the Client during a lesson we are not liable for any money compensation.

• We are not liable for any money compensation in case of force majeure events, including non-operating lift facilities (partial or in full).

• We do not pay compensation and do not bear any liability for non-operating facilities due to force majeure events. These include (but are not limited to) war, riot, civil actions, acts of terrorism, strikes, natural disasters, fire, industrial disputes, technical failures, bad atmospheric conditions, natural or nuclear disasters, acts of governments and other events that are beyond our control.

• Any services that have been booked and paid for this resort but have not been provided within the resort are not subject to reimbursement.

General conditions for using sports equipment

Client is entitled to use sports equipment (ski, snowboard, boots, poles, clothing and accessories), that he/she has taken over and confirmed this by signing the rental contract for the agreed period of time. The rental contract follows the general conditions posted up in the ski rental as well as on the website www.sankiyskischool.com. Client is not entitled to provide the rented equipment to a third person.

The payment must be made before taking over the sport equipment. It is possible to change the hired equipment with equipment of the same category at any time during the rental period. It is also possible to substitute the hired equipment with equipment belonging to category of a higher value against additional costs.

Client shall use the rented sports equipment solely to the purpose for which it is designed and he/she shall act in such a way so as to prevent its damage by predictable events, e.g. it is forbidden to ski off and in places without full snow cover, to dry ski boots and clothing on heating appliances or in their immediate vicinity where these may be damaged by the heat, etc). Client shall use the equipment and clothing in such a way so as to prevent the loss and theft of the rented equipment. The client is liable for any loss or damage of rented equipment. In case of total loss of equipment or in case of any damage that cannot be repaired, client will be obliged to pay a replacement amount of up to BGN 1300 for skis or snowboard, and BGN 100 in case of helmet. The actual amount may vary, depending on the ski and snowboard level (standard, advanced).

Client must return the rented equipment in the ski rental where he/she rented it, in time that has been agreed /the last day until 5pm/, clean and in a state appropriate to its proper use for the given time and for the purpose for which it is designed. If the client exceeds the agreed time of rental of the sports equipment and clothing, he/she shall pay the extra rental fee for the exceeded time according to the pricelist.

The Client can withdrawal from the contract before the end of the hire period by returning the equipment. However, the Client can’t claim any refund of the sums paid. Paid sums can be refunded only in the event of illness or injury. The rental is not liable for any money compensation in case of force majeure events, including non-operating lift facilities (partial or in full), bad weather or others.

Rented sport equipment is not insured if no insurance policy is taken out extra. Sankiyski Rental itself does not offer insurance policies.

All renters/clients must be 18 years of age otherwise a parent/guardian signature is required.

For the rental of skis and equipment as well as for the repairs and for the setting of the bindings the Client must sign a rental agreement. By signing the rental agreement the Client accepts the rental terms and conditions and confirms that the bindings have been set according to the standard set by the manufacturer and in accordance with the personal information provided by the Client. The Client should be clear about following: For Alpine Ski Equipment the ski-boot-binding system is designed to release the boot from the ski when certain forces on the system reach preset values, but that the binding will not release or retain at all times or under all circumstances where release or retention may prevent injury, and that it is not possible to predict every situation in which it will release. Lower settings on bindings will increase releasability but also increase the risk of injury due to inadvertent release, the higher settings on bindings will increase retention but also increase the risk of injury due to non-release, and that injuries due to unwanted release or retention are inherent risks of skiing. In snowboarding and cross-country skiing utilizing equipment with non-releasable bindings, the binding system will not ordinarily release during use.

The present rental contract shall be deemed valid only after the payment cash or by credit card and after the Client has deposited a valid ID card or the value of the hired equipment in cash.

Ski rental reserves the right to change these general conditions.
