The name SankiySki comes from our founder, Lubomir Sankiyski, a former professional alpine skier who proudly represented Bulgaria in numerous national and international competitions. Lubo achieved remarkable success throughout his career, taking part in some of the biggest skiing events in Europe and even competing at the 1984 Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.His wife, Bobi, has been a cornerstone of the tourism and skiing world for more than 30 years. As a child, she too competed in ski races before dedicating herself to teaching. Today, she is an exceptional ski instructor, fluent in five languages, and known for her passion, patience, and professionalism.Both Lubo and Bobi hold the highest level of ski instructor qualifications, and together they have built SankiySki into a place that combines world-class training with family warmth and tradition.In 2023, their daughter Viktoriya joined the family business, following in their footsteps and bringing a new generation of energy and dedication to the slopes. Working side by side, the SankiySki family continues to share their love for skiing with people from all over the world.
